There are strong links between Ohad Naharin and Sweden – dating back to his early collaborations with the Cullberg Ballet and the Jewish Theatre, to the present day. Many Swedish dancers have been privileged to take part in Gaga – his innovative choreographic language, which breeds new movements and communicates the potential of dance as a sustainable philosophy of life to large and grateful audiences. Ohad Naharin's choreographies have a compelling beauty and dynamics, especially when interpreted by his own celebrated and marvellous Batsheva Dance Company.
